If binaries are available for a project, they are only provided in an archive format. We do not offer installers for ZeroC Labs projects.

The Ice for Silverlight binary distribution, which includes the following:

• The Slice-to-Silverlight translator slice2sl.exe.
• The Ice for .NET run time, Ice.dll.
• The Ice for Silverlight run time, IceSL.dll.
• An HTTP bridge for use with a web server.
• A sample application that demonstrates how to program with Ice for Silverlight.

The Ice for Silverlight source distribution, including the sample application and a test suite.

Supported Platforms and Compilers

Ice for Silverlight runs on Windows XP (x86 only) and Windows Vista (x86 and x64).

Ice for Silverlight requires Visual Studio 2008 and Silverlight Tools Beta 2.

Licensing

ZeroC Labs projects are available only under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). Due to the experimental nature of ZeroC Labs projects, we do not offer commercial licenses at this time. Please contact us if you have a commercial interest in a ZeroC Labs project and are interested in a production-quality release.

You can provide feedback on ZeroC Labs projects in our developer forums. Please note that we do not offer commercial support agreements for ZeroC Labs projects.

Documentation

ZeroC Labs projects are not documented in the Ice Manual. Instead, please refer to the README files included in the distributions and the information we provide here on our web site.
