Translator Distributions

The Slice translators for C++ and Java are provided as a separate distribution. You can download the translator source code to compile yourself, or use one of the binary distributions on a supported platform.

This page is for a previous version of Ice-E (1.0.0). However, we highly recommend upgrading to the most recent release. Although ZeroC supports older versions for users with support contracts, we only provide free support on our forums for the latest release.

There is no separate documentation for Ice-E. Ice-E is a subset of Ice, therefore you can use our general Ice documentation. Another source of documentation is the Ice FAQ.
