SGI is using Ice to build ISLE, a complete environment and management framework for HPC data centers. ISLE includes a comprehensive and integrated set of management products to support system managers and end users. Built on a service-oriented architecture (SOA), ISLE unifies SGI and third-party management applications into a cooperative, cohesive product set, simplifies development and deployment by facilitating interactions among services and applications, and enables control and optimization across an entire multi-system, multi-platform computing environment.
